Jim Haar

Golden West Telecommunications, based in Wall, recently announced the hiring of Jim Haar as the new general manager of Golden West Technologies – the Company’s IT support and security business located in Rapid City.Haar’s selection follows the departure of Greg Von Wald who left to become the President of Mitchell Technical Institute.

Haar, a Custer, SD native and a graduate of Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD, began his career with Golden West Technologies in 2000 as the controller. Before becoming manager, he was assistant manager and chief
